Note the words "Central Block" and "1881" in the roof peak. A prominent three-storey commercial building. The window trim is from the period in which the building was constructed. The keystones contain designs and the window labels are made of cast concrete. Built in 1881 by William Snider and Aaron Kraft. Associated with the Ontario Seed Company, which originally began in Waterloo in 1906, Ontario Seed/Home Hardware has occupied this block for several decades.
