A 1½-storey frame dwelling, now in commercial use, that was attached to 203 King Street South in 1973 when Mr. and Mrs. Edward Dietz opened the Eisen Haus Gift Shop in these two buildings. This house was once owned by Charles Bauer and was the birthplace of his son Aloyes Bauer in 1861. Aloyes would become a prominent Waterloo citizen and the founder of Bauer Industries. At one time the house had a door in the centre (where the bay window now is) with a window on either side. The second-storey windows have a wooden pediment above them.
