The portion of the building at 108–110 King Street South was originally Wettlaufer Brothers' Department Store. On July 5, 1957, there was a fire in the building, then the home of Beaupre's Wallpaper and Paint, which caused over $100,000 damage. From 1986 until 2018 it was home to the Carpenter Shop, later the Gospel Lighthouse, a Christian book and gift store. The later addition at 112 King Street South was the home of PDR Picture Framing from 1982 until 2017.
