A vernacular 1½-storey house constructed of buff brick with its gable to the street. The front porch was moved here from "Bleak House" next door when that house was demolished. Originally the residence of Henry Nafe, and then of James Lockie, an inspector with the Mercantile Fire Insurance Co., and later co-proprietor of Lockie & Raymo, brokers of insurance and real estate.
