The Kingsway Apartments and stores were originally the Raisig Hotel. It originally had a tower, now removed, at the corner of King and Duke (now Dupont). It is of brick construction, now covered with stucco. For the last 30 years, the north side of the building has been home to a well-known Waterloo Dark advertisement.
